Ann (Haaven) Hutchison

Ann (Haaven) Hutchison, age 92, formerly of McIntosh, MN, passed away on Monday, November 6^th, at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Bagley, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17^th, at Mount Carmel Free Lutheran Church in McIntosh with the Rev. Karl Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, McIntosh. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday (17^th) at the church. Ann Marie Lindom was born on May 19, 1931, in Leonard, Minnesota to parents Erik Lindom, Sr. and Thea (Moen) Lindom. She attended school in Clearbrook, McIntosh and Fosston, graduating in 1949.

She married Bob Haaven in 1951 and they lived in McIntosh where they farmed and owned the Gamble’s Store. Bob passed away in 1980.

Ann married Bob Hutchison of Fertile, Minnesota on June 12, 1993. They lived in Fertile until 2007, when they moved to Fosston, living in the Summerfield Place Apartments. Bob passed away in 2010. After his passing, Ann lived in McIntosh and then Clearbrook. She moved to the Cornerstone Assisted Living in Bagley in May of 2023 where she was residing at the time of her passing.

Ann worked in the Gamble’s Store in McIntosh, as a bookkeeper at the Erskine Creamery, and as a teller at First National Bank in McIntosh.

She was a member of Mount Carmel Free Lutheran Church in McIntosh where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a very good seamstress and made a lot of her own clothing throughout the years. She also collected dolls and enjoyed dancing and country music (especially polka). During many of her retirement years, Ann traveled back and forth from Minnesota to Arizona, enjoying the weather in each location at different times of the year.

Ann passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Bagley at the age of 92 Years.

Survivors include one sister, Mavis Hegg of Clearbrook; nephew, Kim (Darcy) Hegg of Clearbrook; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Haaven and Bob Hutchison; her parents; and several siblings and half siblings.
