Dallas Rasmusson

Dallas Rasmusson, age 75, of Gully, MN, passed away on Saturday, February 14th, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston. Dallas Harlan Rasmusson was born on August 18, 1939 in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota to parents Harlan and Viola Brede Rasmusson. He grew up and attended rural school in Kandiyohi County. He then worked construction jobs mostly constructing farm structures. Dallas was united in marriage to Marlene Marie Hagen on October 16, 1959. After their marriage, they lived in central Minnesota, settling in Belgrade, Minnesota for 15 years. Dallas and Marlene relocated to Gully, Minnesota in 1997. Dallas worked recycling and selling auto parts out of his shop in Gully until ill health forced him to retire. He loved hunting and most of all, his family. He will be dearly missed.Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Marlene, of Gully, MN; five children, Denise Danielson of Texas, Darran of Litchfield, MN, Daniel of New London, MN, Doug of New London, MN, and Kory of Gully; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Steven (Debbie) Rasmusson of Lengby, MN; and sister, Sharolyn Goodsen of Duluth, MN.He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Darlene Hanson.
