He was raised and dearly loved by his parents Matthew and Naomi Hagen in Fosston, Minnesota. Devin attended Fosston High School and graduated in 2012. He then went to Alexandria Technical College for carpentry and graduated in 2014. Prior to graduating Devin competed in the state Masonry competition in which he won first place which advanced him to Nationals. In June of 2014 he competed at the National level in Kansas City and ended number 10 in the Natation. Devin has spent his summers working with masonry and, after completing school, opened his own masonry company, Hagen Concrete of Fosston Mn. Devin excelled in his work and with his outgoing and loving personality soon became one of the most loved 21 year old businessmen in the area. Devin had two loves in his life: #1, love for his family and friends and #2, was fishing. Most often, one included the other. Devin was known and loved for so many things. HUGE heart, compassion, willingness to drop everything to help another. He was the defender of the underdog and the life of the party. Devin held himself to the highest standards when it came to his work and was a perfectionist in all that he did. He was known for his random quotes that made everyone smile and soon became his social groups form of language: "Prime", "Hard", "Ripper", "Can't be scared", "Rugged", "Chch". Devin's smile and twinkling eyes brought joy to so many. He was a man of his word and was never afraid to be who he was no matter what, for that we are all fortunate to of known him. Devin: precious son, loving brother, respectful grandson, devoted nephew and cousin, and never ending friend...you will be missed dearly by all those you touched. Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Naomi Hagen of Fosston; two sisters, Ashley Hagen of McIntosh and Jacqueline Winter of Lengby; and brother, Alexander Hagen at home in Fosston; grandparents, Richard and Rose Dukek of Bagley, MN; uncles, Russ (Teresa) Dukek of Chimacum, WA, Wade (Tammy) Dukek of Aurora, MN, Brett (Darlene) Dukek of Shevlin, MN, Stuart (Brenda) Dukek of Bagley, Mark (Barb) Hagen of Fosston, Mitch (Becky) Hagen of Prior Lake, MN, Marshall (Judy) Hagen of Germany, and Chris (Bambi) Hagen of Fosston; aunts, Heather (Len) Archer of Milford, MA, Lisa (Kirby) Harmon of Bemidji, MN, and Jennifer (Jenn) Huwe of Edina, MN; and numerous loved and cherished cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Dukek; grandparents, Carol and Daisy Hagen; biological father, Craig Johnson; and uncle, Jason Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers: The FHS Class of 2012 and all of Devin's dear friends.Pallbearers: Collin Grover, Sam Manecke, Trevor Sistad, Blake Olson, Garrett Sander, Reed Sander, Hans Sorgaard, Joshua Dukek, Adam Dukek, and Tyler Dukek.
