Ethan Munter

Ethan Munter, age 24, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Monday, March 9th, as a result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident near Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16th, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Asphult Cemetery, rural Fosston. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, March 15th, and for one hour prior to the service on Monday. All visitation will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at www.carlinhoialmen.com. Ethan Dale Munter was born on September 5, 1990 in Bemidji, Minnesota to parents Dale and Joann Tharaldson Munter. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church north of Fosston and attended Fosston High School. During and following high school, Ethan worked for Gary and Sylvia Munter on their dairy farm. Over the years, he had also been employed at Palubicki's Foods and Deli, MDV, and for Bryan Nyland on his farm near Gully. Currently, Ethan was working as a materials handler at Team Industries in Bagley, Minnesota.Ethan enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt biking, going to Brainerd for drag racing, four wheeling, fixing and working on cars, and anything mechanical. He was also known by many for his talent in bartering and trading. Ethan dearly loves his daughters, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.Ethan passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident near Fosston at the age of 24 years.Survivors include his two children, Bailee Marie Louise Schlehr and Trinity Madeline Coyle; his parents, Dale and Joann Munter of Fosston; two brothers, Brad Munter (fiance, Mary Hagen) of Moorhead, MN, and Paul (Emily) Munter of Bagley; nieces and nephews, Elijah, Terrance, Lincoln, Peyton, Ameerah, and Allison.Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Kenneth (Carol) Tharaldson of Blaine, MN, Lenora (Howard) Courtney of Ham Lake, MN, Roselie (Lueman) Olness of Andover, MN, and Gene Tharaldson of Fosston, MN. Numerous cousins also survive.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Orin and Martha Tharaldson and paternal grandparents, Carl and Mildred Munter.Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his friends.Active Pallbearers: Brad Munter, Paul Munter, Dustin Arneberg, Joe Schlehr, Travis Brown, Tyler Johnson, and Kyle Gerding.
