Jim was born on February 5, 1945, to Sam and Anne Cormican. He dedicated more than 40 years to working as a motor grader operator for Polk County, where he took great pride in maintaining county roads and clearing snow throughout the winters. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to his community.

An avid hunter and devoted family man, Jim found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved.

In 1964, Jim married the love of his life, Rosella Cormican. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. They shared 61 years of marriage and raised three beloved sons in a home where family always came first.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Jon Cormican and Carol Schumacher; his sons, James "Jimmy" Cormican and Steve Cormican; his grandsons, Michael Cormican and Jacob Cormican; and his great-grandchildren, Bryson Cormican and Raella Cormican.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosella Cormican; his infant son, Ronald "Ronnie" Cormican; his sisters, Nancy Ogden and Donna Foy; and his parents, Sam and Anne Cormican.
