Joan Bishop

Joan Bishop, age 73, of Fosston, MN passed away on Saturday, October 12th at Essentia Health Hospital in Fosston. A private family get together will be held at a later date. Interment of cremains will be at Kingo Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston assisted with the arrangements.Joan Olive Emily Hendrickson was born on October 21, 1939 to parents Howard J. and Jewell G. (Hagen) Hendrickson in Fosston, Minnesota.She attended grade school in Fosston, moved to Crookston, Minnesota and attended there through her junior high years. She graduated from high school in Kent, Washington.Joan worked in manufacturing for Boeing Aircraft for many years before retiring and returning to Fosston in 2000.On Saturday, October 12, 2013 Joan passed away at Essentia Health Hospital in Fosston at the age of 73 years.She is survived by her children, Rodney, Angela and Tara; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, Harlan "Sonny" (Marilyn) Hendrickson of Duluth, MN; the Les and Pat Viken family of Fosston and many others who loved her.She was preceded in death by her parents.Blessed be her memory
