Joanne Landmann, age 77, from Oklee, MN passed away on Monday, June 3rd at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee with Rev. Margaret Jacobus officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the funeral at the church on Saturday, and interment will be at Landstad Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN. The Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston, MN is in charge of the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.carlinhoialmen.com.Joanne Eileen Larson was born on January 16, 1936 to parents Joseph and Gladys (Hovland) Larson in Thief River Falls, Minnesota where she grew up and graduated from Lincoln High School.Joanne was united in marriage to Roy Landmann on October 17, 1953. In about 1964, they moved to Shoreview, Minnesota. She worked at the Twin City Armory and worked several jobs in the years later; including Social Services, a bridal shop, drove truck, and did accounting work for a couple of companies including her brother's trucking company.In 2006, they moved to Oklee, Minnesota where she enjoyed being near relatives. Joanne also enjoyed her cats, sewing and quilting, and gardening.On Monday, June 3, 2013 Joanne passed away at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, Minnesota at the age of 77 years.She is survived by her husband, Roy of Oklee; three sons, Jeffrey Landmann of Farmington, MN, Gary (Sarah) Landmann of White City, OR and Bruce (fiancé Patty Hallick) Landmann of Oklee; five grandchildren, Derek, Cady, Julia, Chad and Jill; three great grandchildren, Hanna, Lilly and Natalie; two sisters, Deanna Larson of Thief River Falls and Janie (Gordon) Hipshier of Fisher, MN; and one brother, Dennis Larson of Eagle, WIShe was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Laverne Larson and Edward Larson.
