Judith O'Dier

Judith O’Dier, age 90, of Clearbrook, MN, passed away on Saturday, May 11^th, at Cornerstone Memory Care in Bagley, MN. There will be no services at this time. Judith Colleen O’Dier was born on July 25, 1933, in Whitley County, Indiana to parents Robert and Lucille (Rice) Anders. After graduating from high school in Arcola, Indiana, she went to work for Lincoln Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne.

On November 12, 1954, she married Jack O’Dier. They made their home on a small farm in northern Indiana. In 1972, they pursued their dream of moving to Minnesota to have a dairy farm and to be close to their favorite fishing spots. They raised their three children in Clearbrook, where Judy dedicated her time and talents to her family and community. 

She taught Sunday School, was a Brownies and Girl Scout leader, 4-H leader, Clearbrook School Board Director, school bus driver, farm hand, gardener, and superb baker and cook. Jack and Judy continued their farming and school bus driving until Jack passed away on November 17, 1994. 

They had been blessed with 40 wonderful years together and many special memories made with children and grandchildren. 

Judy is survived by two daughters, Jackie (Doug) Ulrich of Bagley, MN and Terri (Joe) Panka of Mora, MN; one son, Bob (Sarah) O’Dier of Bagley; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law; her husband, Jack; one brother; two sisters-in-law; two nephews; and one great granddaughter.
