Julie Quinn

Julie Quinn, age 62, of McIntosh, MN, passed away on Thursday, August 1st, at her home following a battle with cancer. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of McIntosh and messages of condolence may be shared at www.carlinfuneral.com.

Julie was born on June 21, 1962, in Denver, Colorado. Soon after birth she was adopted by Bernie and Doris Tofsley of McIntosh. She grew up nine miles north of McIntosh and graduated from McIntosh-Winger High School in 1980. 

Julie married Michael Quinn on November 1, 1989. She worked as a cook for 15 years at McIntosh Manor and then at Essentia Health in Fosston until ill health forced her to retire.

Julie liked to fish, pan for gold, and travel. She was a very dedicated and hard worker.

She is survived by her husband, Mike, of McIntosh; daughter, Julia Urdahl of Fosston; son, Terry Quinn of McIntosh; grandson, Max; and one brother, John Tofsley of McIntosh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant granddaughter, Olivia.
