June Bergh, age 94, of Gully, MN, passed away on Thursday, September 1st, at her daughter and son-in-laws home in Eden Township. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7th, at Lund Lutheran Church in Gully with Dawn Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Gully. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, September 6th, at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston. There will also be reviewal for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at www.carlinhoialmen.com. June was born on June 24, 1922 in Hill River Township, Minnesota to parents John and Olga Wold Oistad. June was confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston. She was united in marriage to Sanford Wells Bergh on March 16, 1945 in Gully. They farmed near Gully until January of 1951 when they moved to California where Sanford was employed in the cities of Pasadena and Pinole. In 1952 they moved back to Minnesota and lived with Henry and Ester Bergh until they bought a farm in Eden Township. In 1974 they moved to the Melvig farm. June loved raising sheep and horses. She was a very caring person and took care of multiple people including her husband until he passed away in 1979. June is known for her love of dancing and her beautiful flowers. She has been a member of Lund Lutheran Church since 1946 and had been active in the Trail V.F.W. Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Candace (Rick) Bruggeman of Trail, MN; grandchildren, Kelly (Nate) Shoberg, Jill (Travis) Tharaldson, Amie (Kelly) Neisius, and John Bruggeman; step granddaughter, Shelly (Brian) Maki; great grandchildren, Ben and Riley Tharaldson; one great granddaughter to be born in February; two step great granddaughters, Briana and Sierra Maki; and son-in-law, Larry Anderson of Gully. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford in 1979; second love and companion, Frank Berg; daughter, Sandra Anderson; her parents; and brothers, Glen, Melvin and Dennis.
