Lois Schouviller, age 72, of Fosston, Minnesota passed away on Friday, January 4th at First Care Hospital in Fosston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston with Father Dave Super presiding. Visitation willbe held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and for one hour before the funeral, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Hansville Catholic Cemetery, rural Fosston and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements. Sympathy messages may be sent to www.carlinhoialmen.com.Lois Katherine Klein was born on December 3, 1935 at Fosston,Minnesota to parents Roy and Hilda (Lundhagen) Klein. She graduated from Fosston High School in 1953.Lois was united in marriage to Arthur Schouviller on July 16, 1957 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Fosston. They lived in Mahnomen, Minnesota for one year before moving to Fosston in 1958 where they farmed and raised seven children. Lois also worked as a grocery clerk.Lois loved her grandchildren, playing cards, visiting and drivingaround.She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston.She was a guild member and guild leader and was involved with the parish prayer chain, being concerned for the spiritual wellbeing of others, "Our Prayer Lady".On Friday, January 4, 2008 Lois Katherine Schouviller passed away at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 72 years, one month and one day.Survivors include seven children, Clare (Randy) Berntson of Fargo,ND, Phil Schouviller of Fosston, Gabe Schouviller of Fosston, Tony Schouviller of Pulasky, WI, Roy (Crystal) Schouviller of Fosston, Elaine (Darwin)Heley of Lidgerwood, ND, and Steven (Michelle) Schouviller of Russell, MN; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce (Fritz) Klinkhammer of Missoula,MT,Lillian (Roger) Scharenbroich of Sun City, AZ, and Mary Miller of Fosston;and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 2002; her parents; one sister, Theresa Klinkhammer; and one brother, Ralph Klein.
