Marion O. Moore, age 83, of Fosston and formerly from McIntosh, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, November 30th at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4th at 11:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Free Lutheran Church in McIntosh with Rev. Dale Mellgren officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the funeral at the church and interment will be at Mt. Carmel Free Lutheran Cemetery in McIntosh. Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home serving McIntosh is in charge of the arrangements.Marion Olianna Dyrdahl was born on July 6, 1923 to parents Joseph and Mathilda (Marum) Dyrdahl in Kenyon, Minnesota. She grew up in McIntosh, Minnesota where she attended school, and graduated from high school in Crookston.Marion worked in Shelby, Montana and in the shipyards as a welder in the state of Washington during WWII. She was united in marriage to Harold "Curly" Moore on August 9, 1945 in Vancouver, Washington. They lived in Washington and Tillamook, Oregon. Curly passed away on March 24, 1973. After Curly passed away, Marion moved to Minneapolis where she worked in hospital housekeeping for many years, before moving back to the McIntosh area in 1988. In 2005, Marion moved into Cornerstone Assisted Living in Fosston, Minnesota, and then into First Care Nursing Home in Fosston this past fall.Marion was a member at Mt. Carmel Free Lutheran Church in McIntosh, she volunteered at Senior Meals in McIntosh for many years, and enjoyed crocheting, needle work, and crafts.On Thursday, November 30, 2006 Marion Olianna Moore passed away at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 83 years.She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Nels, Joey, Obert, and Harry; and five sisters, Susan Dyrdahl, Martha Nicholls, Minnie Salvhus, Mabel Dyrdahl, and Anna Dyrdahl.
