Mary Jean Pulford (Flora) passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at McIntosh Senior Living in McIntosh. She was born on September 14, 1945 to LeRoy Flora and Gunda Olsen Flora (Ramsey). She graduated from Anchorage High School in 1964. Mary is survived by her loving and loyal partner, Roy Ostenaa. She is also survived by her two sons, Timothy Allen Pulford and Keith Roy Pulford (and Robert Wood), her brother, Richard Flora (and Martha), and their two children, Eric and Ellis.

As a loving mother, she dedicated her time to her sons and even worked as the head school secretary of their elementary school in Rock Falls, IL. Mary loved to be outdoors planting flowers in her yard and vegetables in her garden, and her home was decorated for every holiday and season. Her love for farming extended into her work supporting local farmers while working at AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Fosston, MN. She established the Tractor Parade in McIntosh, MN with her partner, Roy. Mary loved to travel to Alaska, California, Wisconsin, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona to be with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, and she will always be remembered for cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Bears no matter what state she was visiting.
