Melanie Uebe

Melanie Uebe, age 52, of Fosston, MN, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday (August 2nd). Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday (August 11th) at the Lengby Baptist Church in Lengby with Pastor Mark Erickson officiating. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Melanie Ann was born to Vernon and Charolett Granly on April 4, 1962 at Cando Memorial Hospital in Cando, North Dakota.Melanie attended school in Cando, ND, and Grand Forks, ND, and completed her education at Fosston High School in Fosston, MN.Melanie always had a fun-loving spirit, and found ways to make everyone chuckle. She had an amazing ability with crafts and she loved to fish! Melanie loved to sing and for years was a member of the Granly family singers.Melanie married Rudolph Uebe ("Rudy") in Bemidji, MN, and they celebrated 25 years last fall. She loved her husband, family, and pets with all her heart.Melanie has joined her mother, Charolett Granly, who preceded her in death on November 27, 2009.Melanie is survived by her husband, Rudolph Uebe; her father, Vernon Granly; and several other family members.
