Shirley Haden

Shirley Marie (Renfro) Haden, age 64, of Oak Park Heights, MN, passed away on July 31, 2020. She died peacefully with her children by her side. A memorial service celebrating Shirley's life will be held, however due to Covid-19 the family has decided to postpone scheduling at this time.Shirley was born to John and Frieda (Fulk) Renfro on October 8, 1955. She grew up in Hesston, KS and later moved to Newton, KS where she had her daughter and son. In 1988 Shirley moved to Crookston, MN and later settled in Erskine, MN for many years. Shirley moved down to the Twin Cities metro area in 2004 where she met her companion, Marvin Branstad. Shirley and Marv recently purchased a house in Oak Park Heights, MN in 2017.Shirley was very creative and loved working with her hands. Some of her many talents included sewing, cross-stitch, upholstery, pour painting, and of course photography. Shirley had an interest in photography from a young age but had really fine-tuned her skills with digital photography. She made countless friends in the online photography community and will forever live on through the photos that she has captured. Shirley is survived by brothers Daniel Renfro, Michael Renfro, and Gregory Renfro; children Amy (Patrick) Reimer of Seattle, WA and Casey (Cathy) Haden of Stillwater, MN; 7 grandchildren, Shaela, Devin, Emerald, Owen and Micah (Amy), Zachary and Alexander (Cathy and Casey); 1 great grandchild Aurora (Emerald). She is preceded in death by her parents John and Frieda (Fulk) Renfro and her great grandchild Aries (Emerald).
