William "Bill" Anderson

William “Bill” Anderson, age 62, of Fosston, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 7th, at his home. A celebration of life honoring Bill will be at his home on Saturday, May 17th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (815 N. Foss Ave.) Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of Fosston and messages of condolence may be shared at www.carlinfuneral.com. Per Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral.

Bill was born on December 26, 1962, in Moorhead, Minnesota to Helmer and Bernice (Hazelwood) Heiberg. He grew up in McIntosh and attended school in McIntosh.

Bill worked various jobs, including at Erskine Attachments and Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetable (MDV) until his passing.

He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, fishing, tinkering around in his garage and outside, and having a good ‘ole beer and playing his guitar; as well as helping his neighbors, family and friends.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer (nee, Lewis) Anderson; children, Charlie (Sammie) Anderson, Cole, Travis and Tyler Anderson, Aaron Merck, Jamie Merck, Ashley Merck and Heather (Jon) Tarnasky; sisters, Dianne Plante, Judy Black, Tammy (Ken) Kaasa,; brother, Duaine (Amanda) Anderson; mother-in-law, Janet Jordahl; sisters-in-law, Karmen Lewis, Lori Anderson; brother-in-law, Francis (Rita) Lewis; grandchildren, Bradley, Blake, Eva, Dominick, Jocelyn, Mason, Portia, Keira, Jayce, Hudson, Landon, Serena, River, and Emery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Bommer and Daniel Anderson; brothers-in-law, Johnny Plante and Roger Black; nephew, Gauge Anderson; father-in-law, Donald Lewis; and sister-in-law, Gaylene (nee, Lewis) Smith.
